She will actually plunk away on the piano and sing a little song. Mike and her turn everything into a song, like eating breakfast or going for a drive. Ally loves elephants and thanks to her grandfather thinks that when ever a loud truck drives by that it is an elephant blowing its nose. Her favorite food is peanut butter, I swear she could eat it for every meal. She is enjoying money and everything is $13 dollars. She can jump and do somersaults. She is also going to a weekly dance class. She enjoys it and even though it may seem like she isn't paying attention, things from the class will pop up later on.

Zoe - 6 months.

Zoe turned 6 months on the first (sorry this is so late) and also had her first set of vaccinations on the 2nd. She is now sitting up and has started solids. So far she is not a fan of solids. I am beginning to think it is the texture of purees because I gave her plain rice yesterday and she loved it. She has not rolled from her back to her tummy but I don't think it is for lack of skill but she is content laying on her back and has not need to roll over. I am sure once she figures out that it will get her places that she will start. She is now 13 lbs and has now officially grown out of 0-3months clothes. I love my little peanut girls. To me Zoe is such a fatty but when I see other babies her age she is still tiny.

My baby sister graduated from the University of Calgary. I am so proud of her, I tried to get some good pictures but in the huge auditorium it was really difficult. Here she is after the ceremony with her certificate.

Our House

Mike and I have decided to put our house on the market.  You should check it out on www.welist.com our house looks amazing.  We have worked hard to make it showable, I don't think it has been cleaner.  We hope it will sell but you never know with the market.  We want to move but we also can wait until we get a good price.  Wish us luck

Marathon

On May 31st I finished my first half marathon!  I did it with Danielle and I don't think I could have done it without her.  She was fabulous; she encouraged me the whole way.  I walked the 21.1km, which is only half if you can believe it.  I started training in February and I would walk 5 days a week.  I loved the training, having such a big goal really motivated me to exercise.

The walk was hard but I enjoyed it, near the end I was getting really sore and just wanting it to be over.  My time was 3hrs and 28 mins.  Which is pretty decent.  I am proud of that time.  I am not sure if I would do another marathon because it was just so long.

Mike and I have started a Learn to Run class and I am going to do some 5k runs and my long-term goal is to do a 10k run at the end of October.

I am sorry to say that there are no pictures, due to many circumstances that prevented Mike from being at the finish line.
