So much fun

Ally had a great time playing on her slide.

She would exclaim, "So much fun!"every time she got to the top.
This is my artiste.

We had a great day today.  We were very busy from grocery shopping, sliding, painting, cooking, baking and an 8 mile walk.

Chariot

I have become obsessed with finding a chariot stroller.  I want a used one and I have been looking for a couple of weeks.  I finally convinced Mike that it is worth the expense and I found one that was 3 years old in Cochrane yesterday.  Last night I raced out to Cochrane to get the stroller and on my way back my fabulous brother in law checked it out and made sure it was all aligned and in good shape.  I did my research but it was hard to inspect the stroller with a screaming baby in your arms.  But thankfully the one major thing wrong is not that major and Pat is going to fix it.  It is a bit dirty and worn in parts but that doesn't matter because it is the best stroller ever!  It pushes like a dream and fits both kids comfortable and it is remarkable light and small.  Here is a picture of the girls as we were heading out for a walk in Prince's Island Park today.

Big Girls

Ally got a booster seat yesterday and absolutely loves it and now won't sit in her high chair.  So last night at dinner I put Zoe in the high chair.  Zoe was so thrilled to be sitting in a big girl chair and she loved the toys to play with.

An Artist

Here is Ally painting for the first time with a brush.  She had a blast.  She enjoyed seeing how the different colors changed when mixed.  I really enjoyed it too because it was neat seeing Ally so engrossed in what she was doing.

Smiling

A couple of weeks ago we went to Prince's Island Park to meet our friends.  Here is a picture of Ally just chilling in her carseat while we wait for everyone to show up.

4 months old

Zoe is a smiling machine!  She loves to smile at everyone and will stare you down until you smile at her.  She can roll from her belly but she likes her belly and typically choses to stay there.  She is chatty and has many stories for you.  She also is playing strange and does not like other people.  She will tolerate her Dad and occasionally a grandparent for a little while.  She is starting to enjoy toys now too and will play on her mat for about 20 minutes.

Visit with Tracy

My bff from marching had a little boy in September, Croston.  Due to life and distance we hadn't seen each other and our new additions.  Tracy came to visit and we had a wonderful time and chatted all afternoon.  Croston is a gorgeous little boy with lots of personality.

The Party

Opening presents - She got some wonderful gifts including a fish.

Blowing out the candles

Ally had a great time with all her friends.  We had about 8 kids and their parents here.  It was a lot of fun and much less stress than I thought it would be.

Elmo cake

I decided to decorate an Elmo cake for Ally's party.  My friend Deyelle came and helped and she was a godsend.  Decorating a cake is hard work!  I was busy all day cleaning and I had to bake 3 cakes.  The cake tin was a pain to get the cake out of, the first cake was ruined and then the second and third got cracked.
