Just like Daddy!

Alexandra loves putting her Daddy's hat on. Whenever she sees it she has to put it on and she doesn't seem to mind that it is the one he wears when he is working on the garage, which means that it is stinky and occasionally sweaty!

Brushing teeth

It has been way too long since I have blogged! I have been taking so many pictures but just haven't uploaded them. We have been very busy with getting the garage finished and now that we have nice weather we are going outside more often.

Alexandra is very busy - she nevers sits for more than 5 minutes unless she is eating. She is also talking up at storm. Her favorite words are Puppy, Mama (Grandma) and Popa (Grandpa). She also has learned how to say Dani for her Aunty Danielle and good girl. It seems that every week she has a new word. Alexandra has mastered walking, she now runs a bit, walks backwards and can twirl!

Here is a picture of Alexandra brushing her teeth all by herself. Alexandra takes great pride in doing things herself these days. We are very proud but sometimes wish there was a little less mess.

We have a garage!!

So for the past week Mike has been working really hard on building a garage. It is spectacular and I can't wait until we can start organizing our storage room and get rid (out to the garage) of Mike's tools, so I can have room for the various baby stuff we are accumulating.

Officially walking!!

Alexandra has finally gained the confidence she needs and has just started walking every where. Crawling is so last week! She still falls alot but she is determined and gets right back up. Below are some pictures of Alexandra walking around the living room after a bath and finally resting in her favorite chair.

Alexandra has just started feeding herself with a spoon. She is so proud of herself and will not let you take the spoon away. She makes an incredible mess but has so much fun doing it.

Auntie Nicole

More pics with Nicole. Alexandra really likes Nicole and wants to sit with her and play but unfortunately that usually bugs Nicole. On this occasion Nicole tolerated Alexandra really well.

Nicole had to take her glasses off because Alexandra kept grabbing them.

Awww.....what a nice hug. Nicole is the only one that Alexandra will willingly go and give hugs and kisses to.

Just like Auntie.

A great day with the family

Yesterday we were in Didsbury and after dinner we took advantage of the beautiful day (18 degrees!) and all went on a walk stopping at the various parks.
