Our girls at birth
Here is a comparison of Ally and Zoe at birth. The pictures aren't the best but you still can see the similarities. It will be neat to see how similar they are as they grow up. So far it looks like Ally has Mike's coloring and Zoe may have mine.

First Snow
Sunday, November 16 marks the first official snow. At least in my mind - we woke up to about 5 cm and Ally got to shovel the deck for the first time.

Halloween
Ally had a wonderful Halloween. She had a party for some of her friends, got to wear 2 costumes and answerred the door to the trick or treaters. I wouldn't let her trick or treat because the rule in our house is if you can't say you can't do it. She tried really hard to say,"Trick or treat." Next year she will be able to do it and I think sing the song that goes with it.

Thanksgiving in Lacombe
Getting Nicky kisses.
Disgusting! Why did I think this looked good?!
Before Thanksgiving Dinner, Ally got to spend some time with Grandma Jan and then went and visited all the animals and other fun things on the farm.

Ally's favorite things
Ally was enjoying feeding Gwen some grapes.
Gwen, it's for you!
Just a second, I have to take this call.

Thankgiving in Didsbury
This year we were very honoured to have Joyce, Charlie and Sandra join our Thanksgiving Dinner. The visit was wonderful and so was the food!

Outside fun
We started our Thanksgiving in Didsbury this year. It was a beautiful fall day so Mike and Ally went for a walk. Ally enjoyed all the leaves and rolling around in the grass where Mike enjoyed finding interesting sights to better his photography skills.

I did it!
Alexandra's hair has been bugging me for weeks. I finally decided that I would take her to salon for kids but then today my bangs were driving me up the wall too. So I made a huge decision and decided to cut our hair.
Messy hair
Her bangs were constantly in her eyes.
First cut - got to be fast! Super crooked. Oh no!
The final result but will need some touch ups when Daddy gets home.
So I have joined the ranks of horrible mother's everywhere and cut her daughter's hair and didn't do a good job. Luckily I am the only one who will remember this.
